Challenges
On March 19, 2009, the RED HAT HOOTERS met at my home.  My friend
Micki Donch and I put our heads together and decided that it would be nice
if we taught members of the Red Hat Hooters to needle felt.  I prepared kits
made up of a small denim bag, felting needles and fleece.  Eight ladies
decided to try needle felting.  I asked Micki who had taken all of my previous
weaving and felting classes to work with these students.  We had a great day.
Micki's husband, Vinnie, brought 4 pizzas from Costco for us to have for
lunch.  We also served apple pie and ice cream along with soda and apple
juice.  It was a fun day for all of us.
