Challenges
I just taught my “Needle Felting on a Denim Bag” class with the assistance of my friend, Micki Donch, who had previously taken all  of my classes.  We taught  it at the Blind Center of Nevada to the “Southern Nevada Weavers and Spinners Guild” also called “Fiber Arts Guild”.  We had about 25 students in class.
I had prepared kits for each student which contained 12 different colors of merino-mix fleece, two #40 Triangular felting needles, a small denim bag, printed instructions with diagrams that gave them ideas for designs and pillow foam to fit inside the bag.  I also had the Clover Felting Needle Tool and the Clover Needle Felting Mat for these students to try which made it easier to needle felt onto the bags.
These weavers, spinners, knitters and very creative people all told me that they had so much fun creating with their fleece and felting needles.
Below are pictures that my husband, Allen, and I took while  my students were needle felting.
